A series killer is on the run. He cuts the throats of his victims. For him it's a game to play - for his pray it's deadly truth.

One may argue even a series killer is human and has feelings. But the deadly truth is that such a killer is an animal. Killing and killing again.

This particular song originates from the 1990s. Again, W.E.R.S.I.'s former band collegue Bernhard Kechele was responsible for the very cool story of the song. The original version was a heavy metal speed hammer. But W.E.R.S.I. had the idea to play this one as a ballad in order to point out the soulful side of the series killer (something that never exists). Making you shiver.

This outstanding song closes the album. The brillant voice of Chad Wagner dominates this soulful ballad. This hit is ready for radio play.

Ein Serienkiller hält die Welt in Atem. Er verpasst seinen Opfern einen Gurgelschnitt, der sie langsam aus dieser Welt dahinsiechen lässt. Für den Mörder ist es ein grausames Spiel - für die Opfer die tödliche Wahrheit.

Manch einer mag argumentieren, dass selbst ein Serienkiller ein Mensch mit Gefühlen ist. Aber die tödliche Wahrheit ist, dass in ihm ein Tier steckt. Eine Bestie. Eine Kreatur, die töten muss. Immer wieder.

Die Wurzeln dieses Songs reichen bis in die 90er Jahre zurück. Bernhard Kechele, der ehemalige Bandkollege von W.E.R.S.I., ist für den Inhalt dieser Killer-Story verantwortlich. Während die originale Version des Liedes eher ein Speed-Metal-Hammer war, hat W.E.R.S.I. seine Idee von einer Mörder-Ballade umgesetzt. Dabei will er die ach so gefühlvolle Seite des Mörders untersteichen (die aber in keinster Weise existiert). Richtig schön schaurig ...
